John DiLorenzo uses his knowledge and passion to benefit patients at Precision Rehab Occupational Physical & Hand Therapy, which has offices in the Fresh Meadows area in Queens, New York City, and Little Neck, New York.

John DiLorenzo studied for his bachelor's degree at the Department of Occupational Therapy, York College of the City University of New York in Jamaica, New York. After graduating in 1996, he undertook his master's degree in science education specializing in cardiac rehabilitation and exercise physiology. In 2004, John DiLorenzo became a certified hand therapist (CHT).

John DiLorenzo worked as a certified personal fitness trainer, certified exercise specialist, and health fitness instructor at several distinguished local facilities and has accumulated over 20 years of experience treating the upper extremities. 

He was a director of occupational and hand therapy, which included clinical training and supervision of all physical and occupational therapists. He also developed many occupational and hand therapy clinics in the wider metropolitan area.

In addition to his experience working with leading physicians and surgeons, John DiLorenzo was an expert medical lawsuit consultant for 10 years. He was an adjunct professor at the New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) for hand therapy and upper extremities and an assistant adjunct for physical disabilities. He is currently an adjunct professor in orthopedics and orthotics at Long Island University (LIU) in Brooklyn, New York City. 

In 2014, John DiLorenzo became the first occupational therapist to develop and patent a specialized dynamic orthosis device (DiLoTrax) for hand conditions.

In his spare time, John DiLorenzo enjoys coaching the Nassau County Youth Football League (NCYFL) and has had extensive experience coaching Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) basketball leagues in Nassau and Queens New York City.
